Wrapped

Work are running scheme in association with a children's charity for Christmas presents for children who may not get anything else. Here are the ones I've bought and wrapped. Is making me feel christmassy but also sad that these items might be the only present a child gets.

The Day Aberystwyth Stood Still - a Louie Knight Mystery and the Rocky Horror Picture show

I'm reading The Day Aberystwyth Stood Still by Malcolm Pryce and I keep getting "Science Fiction Double Feature" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show in my head.

I had to look up the lyrics as I kept singing the end of film version on the Brad and Janet line of the chorus. The opening is "see androids fighting Brad and Janet" and the end is "darkness has conquered Brad and Janet". So at least now my ear worm is lyrically correct. The book is quite good too.
