I last went to Paris about 2 years ago, but my mother has been just this last weekend. As she was going I decided to look out my pics from my visit there in 2008. I found them and remembered about this one. It is my fave pic of Paris. It's not a view or of anything particularly famous but I like it. It is, in fact, the background of my twitter page but as I usually use echofon or tweetdeck I keep forgetting what my home page actually is.
I like to take pictures of things made of iron. Hence my lamppost obsession and I think this fits in with that nicely as you have the iron of the sign along with the very Parisian "metropolitain". I really like Paris and am a tiny bit jealous that my mother has been there more recently than I have.
